About Me

I am the Brighton to London Poet and I first started writing poetry as a way of release. I was commuting to work for hours on end on the train, and people's behaviour annoyed me so much that it was a choice of either writing a poem about it and getting it out of my system that way, or going to prison for committing an offence! I chose poetry.

I decided that even though the person who inspired the poem had done something annoying that they should get a copy, after all it is still inspiration, albeit of a negative nature, if one can call it that. As far as I am concerned inspiration is inspiration. And anyway, they might read the poem and think twice about being so annoying! This inspired my first collection 'Sweet Revenge'. I soon became known as the Brighton to London Poet and, as the local newspaper called me, I was Brighton's commuter geurilla poet. I hope you enjoy these poems, they have been inspired by people, places and things, but most of all by love.
